How to Dig a Hole to China..

Blogger thought it would be funny if I answer a weird question in my profile. So here's my answer (I typed it out but aparently there was a max of 400 words, oh well lucky I copied it first):

You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?

Well, Blogger, that is an interesting question that requires breakdown. Breakfast is the most important meal for a growing young man like me. Someone said that the energy from breakfast is equivalent to 10 times the energy from lunch; but then again, that someone is me so I wouldn't trust it. I would probably start by having a large cup of coffee and a tuna sandwich, while watching re-runs of Heroes or American Dad. The next thing to do is to shower and brush my teeth because someone said that to convince people, good breath is paramount. Of course again, that someone is me. I would then shave and put on my undie first followed by a clean shirt and pants/jeans. Probably jeans.

Now comes the tricky bit; machines to drill holes and circulate drilling fluids cost around $120k a day on-site, here in Aus. It can take around 3 days to reach a depth of 1500m. Let's take the radius of the earth to be 6300km. Also, lets assume I am at 40° S and Beijing is at 27°N. Thats a travel of 67°, and using Pythagoras Theorem, I'd need to drill for 6950km. At 0.5km a day, I need around $1,668,000,000 to contract a company to do it. Obviously a good idea is to factor in a safety factor of 2.5 (to accomodate breakdowns).

I'd need $4.17 Billion.

With this in mind, I would have to start by buying lottos, robbing the bank and buying over Google and Microsoft; which probably means I need all the education I can get to trick them into selling..

December o December (Parental Advisory -- Explicit Content)

F**k, it's f'king December already now! Who the f**k would've thought it is now the end of this f'kin year. F'kin hell!! What have I f'king achieved this f'king year? Well, heaps I guess.. Since the end of the year is here, I think I should f'king list down my muthaf'king achievements this year:

1) I've finally f'kin upgraded Chotto (Proton Satria) to Jess (Honda Jazz). It's good cos T can now drive it when I'm outta town (she has an auto license not a manual). Oh, speaking about licenses;

2) I've finally got my f'king Aussie license. After years of pestering from my boss, his wife and T, I finally took the test and f'king passed in one go. Why the f**k did I not do it much earlier?? Well, anyone that f'king knows me knows about my f**ked up procrastinating behaviour. In fact, I think I'm slowly getting over this muthaf'king behaviour cos I also finally...;

3) Applied for Permanent Residency! Woo-f'king-hoo!! Cost close to f'king AUD$4000 to f'king apply and another AUD$1000 to f'king get my documents together. Now we wait for the outcome, but I reckon that it should f'king be ok.

4) I finally brought T to a f'king rave! We went to Stereosonics in Brissy, to watch Tiesto. I was a bit disappointed with Tiesto, but Calvin Harris and Carl Cox f'king rocked their sets!

5) I've fallen in love and his name is Simba; we have a f'king cute cat!! He looks nothing like Simba, but f'king hell he bites like Simba! Such a playful cat, so happy and cheerful with a f'king red nose.. love him to bits!!

6) Finally, me and T have to start f'king planning the wedding back home, but you know what? F**k it for now cos we just don't f'king have the time to go back home and start thinking things through.. We'll start planning when we do..

So that's a f**k load of updates hey? Well not really I guess. That felt good, using all the f'king words to express my f'king feelings.. Why do my feelings seem so f**ked up? Well, I've kinda low on f'king morale today at work, which explains the f'king blogging in the first place. Anyways, f**k this, my next f'king blog should be next f'king year I guess.. o well..

Se-Frequency

After all these years, still on the same frequency!

I haven't checked blogs for quite some time now.. Hell, even my last blog was like ages ago.. So many things have transpired since the last time I wrote.. The funny thing is that, today, the day I finally checked a friend's blog after so long, he mentioned my name!! (Sounds gay, but bare with me first)..

He was just writing a blog of all the people he missed, and yours truly had his name up, FIRST!! oh wow oh wow oh wow, still on the same frequency!!

Anyway, this is just a cue for me to start writing again.. This blog will be transformed from rather than just a blog, to a page where I can express my experiences, my fears and things I have learnt along the way.. Also a good chance to update certain people (oh yes, I did bold and italicize for a reason!) on what's been up..

Ciao-zzza!

Fly By July

Today is a Sunday.. Finally I have time off! I've been working like a b*tch for 2 weeks now, to bring an end to the 1 year adventure called my project.. And now, it seems the end is near, and so I face, the final curtain.. Bit more testing to do..

My loved one has been back in Tokyo for almost 3 weeks now, but I shall be picking her up come Wednesday morning at the airport. The house for me, has been such an empty and lifeless one these past couple of weeks. I'd wake up alone around 7.30am, and curl in bed till bout 8.15am (because of the winter). My whole body will always be aching to stretch out, but I couldn't as it is far too cold to be stretching out under the comforter by yourself in winter.. The morning ritual was always the same, brekky, start the engine, drink the instant coffee while watching the morning show on 7 (alone) and be rushing out at 9am.

I'd be in the office/workshop by 9.30am, and I would usually head straight into the workshop and check what needs to be done. Work my arse off till around 1 or 2, and have lunch. Talk to my loved one after lunch and back to work. And for three days in a row, I'd leave work around 11.30 to 12.30 midnight.. That is the life of an engineer at the summit of his project I reckon..

So yea, a lot has happened since the last time I updated my blog..

1. I've proposed to T and given her a ring back in May, and saving up for the wedding (will post pics of the ring at least, costed a fortune!!)

2. I've bought a car, gave the bad boy White Chotto as a name.. 1997 Proton Satria 1.5L.

3. I've started thinking of how to organise the funds to get married, as I don't wanna lose T.

4. I heard that 'she who shall not be named' is now in a relationship, which makes me feel so happy for her as it is now evident to the both of us that we can each move on without the pain, sorrow and guilt.

Welcome to June

May has ended.
Quite some things I want to cover today.

5 years ago, around this time,
I got closer to she who shall not be named.
1 year and 8 months ago, I've hurt her, so I do apologise.
I do not deserve an apology from her though;
So I was a bit surprised to get an apology.
But all the same, I shall accept it, because
I think it's uplifting to know that forgiveness is accepted.

It was a long and winding road to recovery for the both of us.
It was probably easier for me,
due to the downward spiral of intoxications I took.
But thankfully my downward spiral
turned into an upward ascent with T's help.
And now, I'm just happy that she's ascending too;
Maybe into the arms of a new 'friendship'?
(hahaha, very typical of her)
May that 'friendship' go as well,
if not better, than what we had before.

The past has past; we're presented with the present.
Today is Kamal's birthday: http://chester-chaz.blogspot.com/
Wishing him a Happy 24th Birthday!

I've got lots to do before July arrives. July Happenings include:
T's Birthday: 2nd July
Project Due: Middle July
Sha's Birthday: 27 July

I can now buckle down to meet my various responsibilities.
Cheers!

Dinner Tonight

I just got a call from my baby;
tonight's dinner is oyako-don (loosely translated, chicken and egg donburi)..

There is a degree of poetic justice in oyako-don. A donburi, according to my Japanese sources, is a form of rice bowl. The poetic justice in this meal comes in the form of the word oyako. Oya can mean parent(s) whereas ko can mean child. In such a simple dish, this dish is named suitably due to the presence of chicken (oya) and its egg (ko).

Upon further research, this sort of naming extends further to other premutations; for example:
1)  Tanin-don - "Stranger" Donburi: Beef and egg.
2) Sake-oyako-don - Fish Oyako Donburi: Fish and roe.

I'm writing this as a continuation from last night, and it was YUMMY!!!

Goodbye April, Hello May...

What a f**king busy month!!

Not to mention, SO MANY BIRTHDAYS !!!!
-- My Brother, My Sister, My Cousin, My Niece..

Project deadline in less than two months!! F**kin' hell..

There is just not enough time in the world,
so much to do, not ready to tackle everything just yet..

Good news is that I don't have to fly to India, not just yet..
But the bad news is that I have to get all these things done here..

It's Do or Die: Get Rich or Try Dying !!

I finally have my own car, Proton Satria 97'.. That's good enough..

Goodbye April...Hello May...See you soon June...
